Four pillars, no greenwash.
We avoid pillars like “carbon-neutral” or “net-zero by 2050” until the underlying maths is third-party verified at facility level. The four pillars below are the work we can defend on a procurement call today.

Materials
Low-impact, traceable materials.
FSC Mix veneer on every wood surface. E0-grade engineered cores. Recyclable aluminium frames. Recycled-content polymer in chair shells where structurally appropriate — never as a marketing line on a load-bearing part.

Emissions
GREENGUARD Gold across surface coatings.
All OBJEKT desks, casegoods and acoustic panels are finished with GREENGUARD Gold-certified topcoats. The certificates are issued in the product name (not just the supplier name) and are downloadable from each product page.

Manufacturing
ISO 14001 plant, water-based finishing.
Our Foshan plant operates under ISO 14001:2015. Topcoats are water-based across the casegoods line. VOC-laden solvent finishing is permitted only on heritage product runs and is reported in the per-shipment EHS summary.

End-of-life
Designed to be repaired, not replaced.
Modular construction with mechanical (not glued) joints on chairs, desks and pods. Spare parts — gas lifts, casters, electronics, mesh panels, fabric kits — are stocked in our distributor regions for 7+ years.
Reports
Audit-ready reporting on every shipment.
Every OBJEKT container ships with a per-shipment EHS summary covering finishing chemistry, water-based vs. solvent ratio, packaging recyclability and origin-of-wood declarations under EUTR / US Lacey Act.
For LEED v4, BREEAM and WELL submissions, our specifier desk compiles the full credit packet at no charge for confirmed projects above 200 workstations.
